Questions about the numbers

How is time to hire measured?

From the day a candidate enters the pipeline to the day they accept. Time to fill, measured from role approval, is usually longer and worth tracking separately.

What is a good target?

Under 25 days keeps you competitive for candidates running several processes. Under 20 usually means the queue time has been engineered out.

Why does speed matter?

The strongest candidates are off the market fastest. Every extra week raises the chance your first choice accepts elsewhere.
